The Haun PTA is here to be an active and vital player in improving our school and community.  We are the group who helps build bridges between homes, school, and communities to help children succeed academically and personally.  We are more than just fundraisers — we provide the volunteers who run the Rock Hop, Book Fair, Reflections, Multicultural Night, Safety Programs, Parent Education and so much more.   Doesn’t it make you proud that your children attend a school that provides so many opportunities for growth academically, artistically and socially??

The Purposes of the Haun PTA, in common with those of the Texas PTA and the National PTA, are:

• To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship.
• To raise the standards of home life.
• To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
• To bring into closer relation the home and the school so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
• To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.
