Why should you join the PTA?  Because it benefits you and your child(ren) in so many ways!!

• You get connected with teachers, staff, other parents and other students, the BEST way to learn what is really going on at Haun.

• You can gather and share parenting information with other parents and teachers, people who really care about raising kids in today's world.

• You can share information with your child's teachers so you can help the teachers and the teachers learn more about how they can help you or your child.

• You have a voice in how the PTA prioritizes it's goals and spends it's limited resources. Only members can vote and hold a PTA office.

• You will send a clear message to your child(ren) that you value education and that you will do everything you can to help them realize their full potential.  This is especially true when both parents join PTA.

And on a more practical level, by joining the Haun PTA, you get a copy of our Directory each year, get access to member-only sectons of the Texas and National PTA's websites and get to take advantage of some great discounts at Barnes and Noble, Southwest Airlines, Enterprise and T Mobile.  That's a huge payoff for the cost of a fancy cup of coffee!!
